In fact, for an unknown reason, the lake in Roopkund is surrounded by human skeletons from different regions and times. This strange discovery gave the lake its second name: "Mysterious Lake."

The trek is full of grandiose landscapes and diverse flora and fauna. It is located in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand at a breathtaking height of 16 470 feet (5020m) above sea level, from where you will get an impressive view of the Himalayan mountains of Trishul and Nanda Ghunti.

It changes with every season and is beautiful almost year long.
